With NC-HOPS we can offer a programming tool that is independent from the machine offering a far superior functionality and with more options to link to other software tools.

One application is integrated scenarios where one source programs for the design of furniture have to be split over several CNC machines with different capabilities and programming tools. Similarly it can be used to standardise the way of programming a range of different CNC machines.

With post-processors for virtually any CNC machine available and the full knowledge of tool configuration and saddle positioning, NC-HOPS can take full control over any CNC machine.

The main programming mode is parametric, not CAD-based, therefore easy to learn and to use. Extensive use of macro-based programming tools allows even more rationalisation.

Advanced macro technology

Additionally it offers with ACADemy a 2D-CAD tool to add free-style shapes into the scope of options with minimum effort. There are Nesting modules for rectangular and shaped components available. The parametric way of defining programs leads here to another unique advantage of this software: Even the nesting programs are fully parametric!

FenTuRa:
A module within NC-HOPS for the design of windows, frames and doors, without limitation on profiles used. Counter-profiles, filling panels and beads are calculated automatically. The use of standard libraries saves time when manufacturing similar products.

FENmatik:
An external tool that takes XML files from existing window design software and translates the details into NC-HOPS for the transfer into CNC machines. It automatically calculates the clamping positions and array positions.
