D23 Drilling machine
A single line drilling machine with 23 spindles. The head is moved manually between the horizontal and vertical position to facilitate face or end boring.
This is an ideal machine for smaller manufacturers who wish to use glue and dowel construction or have the time capacity to carry out a second face drilling operation for cam and dowel construction. |

This machine is also suited to higher volume situations where it can be positioned adjacent to a CNC machining centre to carry out end drilling in horizontal components. Many manufacturers have found that the CNC machinist can complete these operations during the working cycle of the machining centre and make considerable time and therefore cost savings on this operation.
Detel Mono 29 & 35
These machines whilst similar to the D23 have the added advantage of pneumatic raising of the drilling head from the vertical to the horizontal. The control is from a switch at the front of the machine with changeover taking just a few seconds.
The 35 spindle machine is equipped with two drive motors for the drill block ensuring ample power despite the number of spindles.
Both machines are supplied with extension fences and flip over stops which allow long panels to be fed through the machine for construction drilling or, across the machine for adjustable shelf holes or 18mm solid backs, to assist in this operation a reiteration stop eliminates the need for additional machine settings. |
