The glue pot has pneumatically controlled gates which automatically close when the machine is switched off to prevent glue spillage. It is also equipped with a glue scraper mechanism inside the glue pot to prevent glue oxidisation and keep the warm up time to a minimum.
Automatic tape infeed via solenoid and timer with easy external adjustment for tape infeed length, ensures that the tape is in the correct position to receive the panel with the minimum of tape wastage.
The infeed fence is fully adjustable to accommodate thicker edgebanding materials, with the measurement shown on digital readouts. The first silicon pressure roller can be left fixed for maximum bond on thin coil material or spring loaded for thicker materials.
Automatic board transportation is via a centrally adjustable pressure beam, which gives a constant through feed speed of 10 m/min and a constant side pressure to give a consistent quality of bond and trim.
Equipped with electro-pneumatic pre-cutting guillotine to cut material up to 3mm thick directly from the coil.
Front and rear end trim via one 0.5 HP high frequency motor running at 12000 rpm, for the flush trimming of the front and rear ends of a panel edged with material up to 3 mm thick.
Top and bottom trimming
via two 0.5 HP high frequency motors running at 12000 rpm. Each motor is inclinable from 0 - 30º and is equipped with a milling block with 4, two sided 3mm combination cutter tips. Each motor is laterally adjustable on a digital readout to use the full width of the cutter and extend the working life of each tip and give low replacement cutter costs. |

Easy adjustment of the vertical tracers gives a very accurate trim and fast setting times for different types and thickness of edging materials. The top trimming motor is attached to the top pressure beam and is automatically adjusted for different thickness of panel with no need for any separate trim adjustment.
Profile Scraping Unit equipped with 3 mm radius blades (other sizes on request). The unit has vertical tracing for trim adjustment and lateral tracing to follow any variation in the board and ensure a constant profile along the whole of the panels length, and therefore, remove any cutter marks from the edge of thick PVC material. The unit is pneumatically excluded when not required.

Buffing Unit comprising of two individual 1 HP three phase motors for the cleaning or polishing of coil material. The motors are mounted on a central column and are individually inclinable. Each motor is fitted with either cloth or scotch-brite wheels to suit individual applications.
Equipped with an extendable front support rail, which in conjunction with the pressure beam, supports even larger panels.
In-built dust extraction assists with the cleanliness of the machine and the surface of the panel and helps ensure the quality of the trim. The extraction manifold has a manual gate, which allows the machine to be connected to existing dust extraction facilities.
