Cehisa EP-C Hot Melt Edgebander for Shaped Edges

The EP-C is a hot melt, shaped edgebanding machine for applying unglued edging material to a variety of shaped or straight edges. The glue pot is fitted with a screw feed mechanism which applies hot melt glue via one of two glue rollers: One applies glue to the edging material and the other applies glue directly to the edge of panel. The glue pot is controlled via an electronic temperature control, which only allows the glue rollers to rotate after reaching a preset temperature.

The heavy duty table is adjustable in height to allow an overlap of the applied edgebanding material without the use of jigs and also has a tilt facility allowing the edging of angle cut pieces up to 45º.

The guillotine and edging infeed is controlled via a foot pedal which activates the tape feed mechanism and an electronic counter which activates the guillotine at a preset length of material.
