EBM developed the SAM 100 for the application of hot melt adhesive to solid wood lippings, veneer, melamine, polyester, laminate and PVC edging material.
When the application of edging material can only be achieved by using preglued hot melt adhesive, the SAM 100 hotmelt applicator becomes worth its weight in gold.
The user can apply adhesive to almost any lipping, which requires hotmelt adhesive. |

Activated by a variable temperature control unit which only allows the glue roller to operate when adhesive temperature is reached.
Application is via the top roller and it can apply adhesive to a strip 3 to 100mm wide and 0.3 to 15mm thick.
The through feed rollers operate at a fixed speed of 12m/min applying a spread of adhesive 120 to 200g/m².
Temperature is achieved and maintained by two 400watt 220volt heater elements. |
