With the ever increasing costs of energy coupled with higher charges for waste disposal and landfill taxes it makes sound commercial sense to utilise waste and convert it into heat.

We offer a range of hand fired heaters which will burn solid timber off cuts as well as chipboard and MDF. The units have a potential output from 75,000 up to 500,000 Btu.

We can offer hand fired burners to heat factories from 3 to 10,000 square feet and automated systems that will heat factories up to 50,000 square feet.

We can visit and look at your waste volumes, size of premises and level of insulation and make a recommendation for you to heat your factory for next to nothing. Most companies find that the monthly repayment costs for a heater are less than their existing heating bills and waste disposal costs and therefore have a positive cash flow as well as a tidy factory.

For companies producing higher volumes of sawdust we would look at installing a briquetting machine. The briquettes can also be fed into a hand fired heater and therefore reduce waste removal costs even more.

For larger companies fully automatic systems can be installed which will store and automatically feed heaters. These will produce either warm air heating or hot water for processes, heat for offices or even generate electricity.

The latest incentive from the government announced in March 2011 is the Renewable Heat Incentive. (RHI) This will give quarterly payments over a 20 year period to companies who use amongst other systems bio mass technologies to reduce their use of carbon fuel, and reduce landfill. We are more than happy to give you more information on this exiting development and advice on qualifying systems.
