Reduce the cost of waste removal
With the increasing costs of waste disposal many manufacturers are now looking at ways to reduce these charges. Landfill taxes have risen dramatically over recent years and are set to rise at an increasing rate as legislation is brought in to encourage recycling.

In addition many companies are surprised to learn how little material is actually in a skip unless it is compacted. Most companies achieve only 40-50% capacity due to the space wasted by fresh air. It is therefore possible to halve disposal costs overnight.

Our range of chipping machines cover a wide range of specifications and capacities and solutions are available to suit almost any application.

As labour costs have increased larger manufacturers have found the benefits of having a unit adjacent to the key waste producing machines such as the beam saw or CNC router if nesting. The granulated material can then be transported through the normal extraction system.

Alternatively larger units can be centrally located usually outside of the building and can easily be specified to deal with a variety of materials, even full pallets.

In the case of packaging materials such as pallets a powerful magnet is incorporated to remove metal fragments from the system.

Although from a standard range of equipment, each installation is individually specified to deal with the specific material and can be integrated into existing or new extraction systems.

Depending on individual circumstance interset free loans may be available from the Carbon Trust. Coupled with waste removal savings and heating expenditure, benefits can be greater than the cost of the capital equipment.

Metal Recovery
The waste is chipped to a size to suit not only the type of material but also its future purpose. For example if the material is to be fed into a wood burning system the size of the chips will be suited to give maximum calorific value whilst maintaining sufficient dimensions to burn easily and not block up auger systems.
