The problem for many customers using PVC foils is handling and storage. A full roll of foil is not only ungainly and difficult to handle but the weight means that for health and safety reasons manual handling is a problem.

This coupled with the need in todays market to offer a wide range of colours and small production runs of each colour the need for an affordable solution is apparent.

	We offer two solutions which can be used either for purely storage or for location adjacent to the press for dispensing as required. NEY foil trolley - Up to 6 rolls This trolley was designed by ourselves to provide a cost effective manual solution for the smaller manufacturer. It will hold up to 6 rolls of foil any of which can be fed into the machine / guillotine without moving the trolley. The rolls are supported on nylon wheels which can be loaded with ease and run freely even with a full roll of material.Mounted on heavy duty industrial castors the trolley is equally suited for the off-line storage of material which can then be easily wheeled to the press when required. Paternosters - From 8 to19 rolls These systems deliver the selected roll of material to the working position at the touch of a button resulting in considerable improvements to throughput, particularly when working with smaller batch sizes of multiple foils. Extensively used adjacent to the press, the various models available can store between 8 and 19 rolls of foil vertically, saving a great deal of space. For larger volume manufacturers they also provide a useful method of storing bulk stock. Rolls are loaded onto the paternoster at low level reducing the risk of injury from lifting rolls of material to working height. It is important to establish the available height when considering how many rolls you wish to store and to also ensure the floor is of a suitable construction as the weight loadings are considerable with larger units.
