Virutex & Pizzi Hand-Held Glue Spreaders

VIRUTEX EM25D hand held glue spreader is a unique piece of equipment in that it offers two rollers instead of one. The main base roller is a standard sponge roller, for the application of PVA adhesive to large areas, prior to the introduction of veneer or laminate material for pressing.

The second roller is situated at the top of the adhesive tank and is accessed by opening the lid covering the reservoir.

This is a hard rubber roller designed for the application of adhesive to the edge of materials for jointing or edging.

The EM25D

The unit is supplied with a base stand where the unit can be placed in order to use the upper roller. To prevent the spillage of adhesive when mounted on its stand the unit is fitted with a shut off gate which drops into position when the base roller lowers. In order to control the flow of adhesive during use the EM25D has a flow control handle conveniently placed next to the users finger allowing the regulation of adhesive during use.

PIZZI hand glue spreaders has a wider roller than the Virutex unit therefore panel coverage can be quicker however it does not have the upper roller.

Supplied with a rubber roller as standard with the no cost option of a sponge roller.

Designed for use with the majority of adhesive types, it best works with the PVA glue as it is water based and is easily cleaned out.

This unit also has a gate and flow control system complete with a finger trigger for operator control. However this unit does not have a stand supplied.
