In 1922 the company founder Hans Weber established a new factory to increase the production of his well renowned cylinder sanders. The company philosophy of Sturdy reliable construction and Technical innovation were then and are still today the principals by which the company has lived up too.

In 1985 Weber developed an electronically controlled sectional pressure pad named the ISA system.

This unique and patented development allows total flexibility for each individual 22/44mm, 16/32mm wide pad. Individual pistons apply pressure to each pad, a series of sensors located just prior to the pressure pad (22/16mm wide) controls the amount of applied pressure.

This system in conjunction with the high build quality standards demanded by Weber make the LCE 600, LCE 1000 and LCE 2000 range of sanders a must for any workshop that requires a first class finish with speed of production, while still within a sensible budget.

The sanders are available with one, two, three or four sanding belt versions. Each belt can have a combination of either a roller or roller/pad or crossbelt.

The LCE 1000 is designed for calibration, solid wood, veneer and has a special package for lacquer sanding. A steel drum and 44mm wide pad and 22mm wide sensor are fitted as standard. Also fitted is the touch screen controller technology. The machines are available in two sizes, namely 1100mm and 1350mm wide.
Weber LCE 2000 is also available in two widths, 1100mm and 1350mm. It is fitted with a grain compensation system for the sanding belt, and has 16mm sensors and 32mm pads (16mm on request).

The control system is via a siemens computer capable of holding up to 50 full programs, with the option for touch screen with 99 programs - both with machine diagnostics.

Calibration, solid wood, veneer and lacquer sanding is easily carried out on this machine.
