Transport for the saw carriage is by means of a steel cable with automatic self-tensioning, eliminating the problems normally associated with drive belts on similar priced machines.
The pusher is driven by rack and pinion with a magnetic encoder to ensure high levels of positional accuracy. The machine has 5 grippers to hold the panels during the positioning cycle. An automatic side aligner is fitted as standard equipment to ensure panels are positioned firmly against the fence during cross cutting operations.
The machine is controlled from a touch screen conveniently mounted on a pivoting arm adjacent to the cross cut fence. The control and programming functions of the machine are clearly displayed on the large full colour screen. Particular attention has been paid to the software design to make the machine user friendly and simple to use even for those with no previous experience on this type of machine.

The machine can be used in manual or semi-automatic mode for the cutting of single pieces or in fully automatic mode when full cutting patterns are entered. These can be stored and recalled for future use.
To minimise downtime cutting lists can be pre-prepared and downloaded to the machine via a memory stick. A number of options are available to increase the flexibility of the machine and tailor it to suit individual applications.
