Junior 640
The most popular model for general workshop use the Junior 640 has a cross cut capacity of 550mm with component height of 20mm and 450mm with a material height of up to 125mm. making it suitable for most applications.
Available in either single or 3 phase options it permits the smaller shop without a 3 phase supply to take advantage of the superior build quality over competitors light duty machines.
The arm and base are manufactured from cast iron with the saw carriage itself running on eight bearings to give both consistent accuracy and extended life.
With both the arm and motor inclinable to 45º compound angles can easily be achieved and the blade can be raised up to 70mm from the table to allow grooving or the shoulders on tenons to be cut.
The machine can be fitted with a 350mm or 400mm blade and the resultant capacities vary according to the blade selected.
Big 800
With the same construction features as the Junior 640 machine the Big 800 gives an increased cutting width of 710mm. This allows large panels to be cross cut, mitred or bevelled even with compound angles. It has a powerful 4HP 3 phase motor and is also available as a 3HP single phase option.
This machine can also be used with a 400mm diameter blade which allows deeper timber to be cut making it an ideal solution for joinery manufacturers.
Best 960 / Best 1250
Both of these machines offer the same levels of convenience of use as the smaller machines but with increased cross cutting capacity of 870mm and 1160mm respectively with a 350mm blade.
Again either machine can be supplied with a single phase motor giving the smaller workshop the opportunity to acquire a professional level machine without the costs of installing a phase converter.
The larger machines have substantially size tables to give maximum support for the work piece and these can easily be extended for long components. |
