Four Sided Planers

The powerful 10HP motors transmit power to the horizontal and vertical shafts via a flat belt drive which minimises vibration and gives a high quality finish.The long infeed table with quick adjustment and the easily set right hand fence make this an operator friendly machine with the ability to produce excellent results.

RD240S
This four sided planer is based on the very successful Master series of four sided moulders. With a working width of 240mm and a height capacity of 170mm the machine is capable of dealing with most timber sections with ease.

The direct drive motors transmit the power to the cutter block and therefore maximise power efficiency. The adjustments are carried out from the front of the machine allowing final settings to be done without stopping the machine to open the safety enclosure.

Digital readouts display the position of the cutter heads to assist in minimising downtime and increase efficiency. Adequate adjustment of the spindles allows the production of simple profiles such as solid wood flooring as well as square sections, increasing the versatility of the machine. The machine also has the facility to use a pre-straightening cutter on the first horizontal shaft to assist in the production of straight parts.
