A wide range of working units are available with saws and horizontal and vertical milling heads in fixed or jump milling configurations. Vertical units can be fitted with extended shaft lengths to enable frequently used profiles to be selected without the need to change tools.
The opening width of the machines is controlled via a touch screen which speeds up setting times especially with the modern trend towards shorter batch runs. For high volume operations or situations where fast changeover is required, numerical control can be added to the required number of axis.
We can offer line solutions with two machines linked to profile four edges in a single pass and can include automated feeding and stacking if required.
To improve the efficiency of single machines on joinery type components automatic return of the finished component can be achieved. With a track running below the drag chain saving not only space, but also the need for a second operator. |

Specialist applications
There are also specialist machines available for dedicated operations such as parquet and strip flooring. These machines together with dedicated lines for laminate flooring offer fully automated handling to enable high volumes to be achieved, whilst maintaining the high levels of accuracy required for this type of product.
Depending on the product and particular application, feed speeds of up to 360 metres per minute can be achieved. That’s almost 14 mile per hour!
