Modern tenoning and profiling machines offer the options of both vertical and horizontal shafts as well an superimposed vertical shafts for extended length tenons. With the facility to add motorised or programmable positioning, todays’ machines are able to cope with small batch sizes and multiple profiles.

The larger machines in the range can be at a later date conjoined with profiling machines to create a fully integrated window line. This proves a financially efficient solution for many growing companies and is more cost effective than changing a machine that is only one or two years old.

The options for window lines incorporate three model ranges covering all levels of production and product complexity. As hardware and fittings have developed over recent years Saomad have developed the woodpecker CNC to sit behind the profiling machine to carry out all secondary machining operations for hardware, assembly and finish detailing.

With a huge range of aggregates and tool changers it is possible to achieve in line what many would consider to be impossible.

UTP150 Range
A flexible range of machines available in 10 standard configurations offering a solution to suit most manufacturers. With the option of manual or motorised carriage and vertical, superimposed or horizontal tenoning spindles it enables the manufacturer to specify the machine characteristics that best suit their requirements in terms of flexibility and automation.

PS Profiling Range
Equipped with between three and five profiling shafts and the ability to include glass bead recovery and component return units the PS range with it’s programming faculties give totally flexible working with a single operator.The machines in the PS range can be linked to a ST or Maya tenoning machine to produce a self contained working centre.

Maya Range
The four models in the Maya range with increased spindle options and encoder controlled horizontal and vertical positioning of the shafts allow angled tenons to be produced without inclining the squaring fence. The programmable fence speeds up setting times and assists achieving rapid production rates even when working with single order processing.

ST Range
Three ST models offer a choice of one or two vertical spindles of either 320 or 620mm length. A simple to use programming facility enables fast changeover between profiles coupled with the option of being able to profile assembled casements up to 1300mm square. Speed and flexibility are guaranteed.
