In order to achieve speed and transparency we individualise each stock item with a unique identifier which is linked to quantity and location, this is the only information needed.
The identifier, a barcode, allows the automation of each step and presents it as real-time information to all system users. This introduces full traceability for every movement, an important element of stock management.
The barcode system dramatically improves speed and coupled with the use of barcode scanners makes misspicking virtually impossible. |
